American Camellia Yearbook, 1974, p.172, Reg. No.1276: A 6 year old seedling of Buddha x ‘Cornelian’, (Damanao) that first bloomed 1971. Originated by Walter F. Homeyer Jr., Macon, Georgia, USA. The peony form bloom is rose bengal with a silvery blush (RHS.CC.25/1-25/3) 15 cm across x 7 cm deep with 22-24 petals and yellow anthers with filaments white to blush at base. Blooms early to late. Lilette Witman 怒江红潮(C. reticulata)云南茶。1974，美国裔治亚洲 Macon，Walter F. Homeyer Jr.培育作出。C.reticulata 'Buddha'(佛陀）x C. reticulata 'Cormelian'(大玛瑙）。6 年实生苗，初花1971年。牡丹形、玫瑰粉、淡银色云斑、巨大(15 x 7cm)、花瓣约22〜24枚、花期1〜3月、树性直立〜横张、长势强。花名：人名（李列特•威特曼）。
