ACS Registration #2986. The Camellia Journal,71(3):27 with name and color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2016, p. 125 with color photo and description. This 20-year-old C. reticulata chance seedling first bloomed in 2000. It was originated by E. Hulyn Smith of Valdosta, Georgia, USA and registered and propagated by Randolph Maphis of Tallahassee, Florida, USA. Bloom: The very large sized 14.6cm x 7cm semi-double to loose peony form flower is pink. It has yellow anthers and white filaments. This profuse bloomer has fragrance with a consistent form and heavy petal texture. It is long lasting and falls in one piece. The bloom stands up tall and is sometimes frosted. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves have medium serration and average 12.7cm x 6.3cm. Bloom season: Late.
