American Camellia Yearbook, 1982, p.175, Reg. No.1808: A medium size, light pink, formal double, chance C.japonica seedling that blooms mid-season to late. Originated by Ted Alfter, Bakersfield, California, USA. The 8 year old seedling first bloomed 1977. Average flower size, 8 cm across x 3.8 cm deep with 30-50 petals, sometimes with colour darker on outer edge. Plant growth is upright, dense and rapid in rate with dark green leaves, 8 cm long x 4.5 cm wide.
