Lennard, Te Puke, New Zealand. A chance seedling that first bloomed 1985 at 8 years of age. Average growth habit and rate of growth, with dark green leaves, 7 cm x 4 cm. The semi-double, small to medium size bloom, averages 8 cm across x 4.5 cm deep and has 27 petals. The ruby red flower with black veining in the petals, has yellow pollen and pink fila­ments. Blooms mid-season to late.
