ACS, The Camellia Journal, Dec. 2002, p.20 with colour photo, Reg. No.2582. A cross of C.oleifera ‘Plain Jane’ x C. sasanqua with pale pink, single to semi-double flowers that have deeply notched petals. Flowers early and the plant is cold hardy to -10° F. Originated by Dr William L. Ackerman, Ashton, Md., USA. American Camellia Yearbook, 2002, p.128, colour photo p.c10. The 18 year old seedling first flowered in 1988. Flowers have yellow-orange anthers and pale yellow filaments, 8-10 petals, and measure 9 cm across x 4.5 cm deep. Plant has average, upright growth, with dark green leaves 7 cm long. Bloom from October to November in Maryland, USA. International Camellia Society, 2023.
