American Camellia Yearbook, 1968, p.133, Reg. No.973: A 9 year old chance seedling of Iwane-shibori that first bloomed 1962. Originated by L.F. Law, Brunswick, Georgia, USA. Plant growth is upright and medium with mid-green leaves, elliptic, 10 cm x 5 cm, thin, stiff, fine serrations, base round, apex short acuminate. Flower is large, rose coloured, incomplete double, 12 cm across x 7 cm deep. Formation similar to Elegans. Some centre petaloids almost white; filaments white, anthers yellow.
