American Camellia Yearbook, 1980, p.169, Reg. No.1676: Very large, dark pink, semi-double, C.reticulata hybrid, ([‘Cornelian’ (Damanao) x Brigadoon] x ‘Crimson Robe’ (Dataohong)) raised by Frank Pursel, Oakland, California, USA. The 5 year old seedling first bloomed 1979. Average flower size, 15 cm across x 7.5 cm deep with yellow anthers. Plant growth is upright and medium in rate with dark green leaves, 11 cm long x 6 cm wide.
