ACRS, Camellia News, 1995, No.135, p.12, Reg. No.448: Originated by Kenneth Brown, Mitcham, Victoria, Australia. A chance seedling of C.japonica Jessie Burgess. First flowered 1989. A pink (RHS.CC.62A) anemone form of 13 petals and petaloids, 8 cm across x 4.5 cm deep. Flowers freely mid-season to late on an average growing, bushy plant. Leaves olive-green, glossy, ovate, flat, margins crenulated, apices acuminate, 9 cm long x 5 cm wide. Petals notched, opening flat. Filaments mixed with petaloids. Flowers shed whole.
