Dekker, 1960, American Camellia Yearbook, p.2: Originated by Harvey Short, Pasadena, California, USA. A seedling of ‘English Magnoliaeflora’, (‘Fléur de Pêché’) (Fleur Dipater). This is a soft, clear peach pink, very large, semi-peony with two rows of guard petals, building to a higher centre, almost hiding yellow stamens. Blooms mid-season on an upright, compact plant with large, ovate, rounded leaves. ACS, Reg. No. 726. American Camellia Yearbook, 1965. p241: Originated by Harvey F. Short, Pasadena, California. An 8-year-old seedling, first bloomed in 1959. Female parent is 'English Magnoliaeflora', male parent unknown. The 5-inch diameter x 2½-inch depth flower is semi-peony form, clear peach pink in color with golden stamens intermingled with the petals. Growth habit is Trledium, compact and upright.
