Camelia, Soc. Española de la Camelia, No.23/24, June 2014, p.63. Regn No. 1083. A seedling of unknown parentage, planted around 1950 in the garden of Palacio de Salcedo, Pontevedra, Spain, and propagated by Estaciōn Fitopatolóxica de Areeiro. Small flower, 5.5-6.5 cm diameter x 2-3.5 cm deep. Colour pink (RHSCC 54A red group). A single flower with 5-7 petals, cup shaped to saucer shaped, slightly convex with smooth margins. Around 100 stamens in columnar form, white filaments and yellow anthers. Leaves around 6-7 cm x 3.8-4.3 cm, mid-green, elliptic, finely dentate with pointed apex. Base acute and obtuse. Open growth at medium rate, flowers mid-season, flowers fall whole.
