American Camellia Yearbook, 1958, p.289, Reg. No.316: A 9 year old seedling of Mine-no-yuki; originated by Mrs M. Eugene Bullard, Wilmington, North Car­olina, USA. Plant growth is rapid and spreading. The pink, peony form flowers resemble ‘Mine-no-yuki’ in form and have 30 petals and 8 petaloids. Size, 8 cm across x 3.8 cm deep and retains a rose-bud centre for some time. Blooms early.
