American Camellia Yearbook, 1961, p.226, Reg. No.529: An 11 year old chance seedling that first bloomed 1956; originated by W.H. Harrison, Marianna, Florida, USA. Upright, rapid growth with dark green leaves, 8 cm x 6 cm. The flowers are a glowing, cerise pink, anemone to peony form, similar to Daikagura. Filaments are white with yellow anthers. Flowers are 15 cm. across x 10 cm deep with 34-40 petals and 0-90 petaloids. Early flowering.
