ACS Registration#3062. This 12-year-old C. japonica chance seedling firstbloomed in 2012. It was originated by Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida andregistered by Mark Crawford of Valdosta, Georgia and propagated by Loch Laurel Nursery of Valdosta, Georgia.Bloom: The large sized 4” x 2” (treated 5” x 2.5”) semi-double form flower isred. It has yellow anthers and white filaments. The long lasting blooms fall inone piece, have heavy petal texture, and consistent form. Plant: The planthabit is upright and dense. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitablefor landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 3.875”x 2.25” with medium serration and average. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
