Mark C. (C. hybrid).Registered in 2021. ACS Registration #3281. It was originated and registered byPat B. Johnson from Cairo, Georgia, USA. A 12 year old hybrid seedling of C.japonica 'Scarlet Glory' x C. azalea. It was first bloomed in 2015. Flowersemidouble, small size 7.6 cm in diameter and 3.8 cm in depth, Deep dark redwith yellow anthers and red filaments. Leaf medium green, 8.9 cm long,and 3.8` cm wide. Plant upright, medium density growth, vigorous growthrate. Bloom early to mid-season.
