Thomasville Nursery Catalogue, 1942, p.4: New Camellia -a seedling from Quitman, Georgia - flower is semi-double, loose peony type. Colour, delicate, soft pink. Blooms mid-season. Leaves are very large, roundish, of rather thin texture. Originated by Mrs E.M. Brice, Quitman, Georgia, USA. First flowered 1938. Reg. No.28, American Camellia Yearbook, 1954.
