» English Description

ACS Registration #2930. The Camellia Journal,2014, 69(4):28 with color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2014, p. 140 with color photo and description. This 8-year-old C. reticulata seed-ling of ‘Suzanne Withers’ and ‘Annabelle Fetterman’ first bloomed in 2009. It was originated by Hulyn Smith of Valdosta, Georgia and registered and propagated by Randolph Maphis of Tallahassee, Florida. Bloom: The medium sized 12.1cm x 6.4cm semidouble to loose peony form flower is medium to dark pink and sometimes frosted. It has yellow anthers and white filaments. It is a profuse bloomer with consistent form, heavy petal texture and florescence. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves average 11.5cm x 5.1 with medium serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
