» English Description
Mary Pickthorn (C. x williamsii). European Reg. No 189. Originated by Charles Henry Williams, St-Austell, Cornwall, UK, propagated by Burncoose Nurseries UK. Seedling of unkow parentage in 2006, first flowering in 2020.Exhibited within a display of x williamsii at RMCG Rosemoor March Show 2022 but labelled then as 'unnamed'. Plant: growth habit, upright, spreading, fairly open. Flower: small 9 x 4 cm, single, colour, varying from white with a graded pink apex to light pink (RHS 62A) over the whole petal (common in x williamsii), stamens in column with yellowish filaments. Leaf: small 6-7 x 4 cm, oval to elliptic, serrated margin and apex recurved, dark green.
