Mingfeng Xuri

Mingfeng Xuri (C. reticulata). China Regn. #2020-304. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2020, No.6, p.47. Flowers red, rose double form, diameter 8.5-10 cm, 28 petals, obovate, apex concave, 4-5 whorls inserted, inner petals  formed by partial petaloids, the remaining stamens  gathered in the center of the flower, pistils degenerate into deformities and fail to bear fruit. Leaves elliptical-lanceolate, 8-11 cm long, 2.8-3.7 cm wide, apex acuminate, backward bend, and cuneate base. Veins sunken on the front and convex on the back, margins  reversed. Flowering from January to March.

鸣凤旭日Camellia reticulata ‘Mingfeng Xuri’ 中国登录号：2020-304，《中国花卉园艺》2020年第6期47页。由杨锐斌命名，云南省昆明市北郊金殿名胜区培育并登录。由昆明市金殿茶花园栽种的云南红花油茶中选育。花红色，玫瑰重瓣型，花径8.5-10厘米，花瓣28枚，倒卵圆形，先端凹缺，4-5轮着生，内花瓣由部分雄蕊瓣化而成，并留有瓣化痕迹，残留雄蕊集于花心，雌蕊退化为畸形，不能结实。叶椭圆状披针形，长8-11厘米，宽2.8-3.7厘米，先端尾尖，下勾，基部楔形，叶脉叶面下陷，叶背面凸起，叶缘反卷。花期1月至3月。
