» English Description

Mister Patrick (C. japonica).  published in American Camellia Yearbook 2021, p. 95. Registered in 2021. ACS Registration #3233. A 12 year old chance seedling- Parents Unknow, first bloomed in 2014. It was registered by Patrick Andrews from 950 NE 189th Lane Citra, USA, and originated by Clarence and Lillian Gordy from Ocala, Florida, USA. Flowers semidouble, red, size large, 12.1 cm in diameter, 7.0 cm in depth, filaments white with yellow anthers. Flower pluriflorous, long lasting, Leaves dark green, low serration, 8.3 cm long, 3.8 com wide. Plant growth rate average, upright with medium density. Blooming season early to midseason.
