Andoh, 1969, ACRS., Camellia News, No.36, p.22: (Pink Gull, not the same as the true Momochidori, an elegant name for Gull). Light pink single with nar­row petals. Slender, bushy growth with narrow leaves. Early to mid-season blooming. A seedling of Miyakodori. The first character of this name translates as “peach”. Originated in Kansai area, Japan.
