Camelia, Soc. Española de la Camelia, No.23/24, June 2014, p.64. Regn No. 966. Originated by Abelardo Seoane Fernández, A Coruña, Spain in 1984. Registered and also propagated by Estación Fitopatolóxica de Areeiro. Parentage unknown. A small to medium size flower, 5.7-7.1 cm diameter x 4.3-5.8 cm deep. Base colour pink (RHSCC 63A red-purple group) with blue veins and prominent white streaks in the centre of each petal. A formal double, with 34-63 petals, external rounded, internal elliptic with cordated margins. Leaves are 9.2-11.9 cm x 3.1-5.1 cm, mid-green, lanceolate, finely dentate with acuminate apex and acute base. Plant is upright, somewhat open, and has medium growth rate. Flowers mid-season to late.
