Anonymous, 1948, American Camellia Yearbook, p.172 as ‘North Star FN’: Colour white tipped pink. Usually five petals, long and narrow, folding backwards slightly, ruffled tips, 7 cm across. Stamens 2.5 cm long in the centre. Foliage, dark green, 5 cm x 2.5 cm, apex acute. Plant habit upright and dense. Originated at Fruitland Nurseries, Augusta, Georgia, USA.
