J & F Thoby, Gaujacq, France, Catalogue, 2005, p.45. Obtained by the CRACA (Centre de Recherche et d'Acclimatation des Camellias en Aquitaine) J.C. Rosmann/J. Thoby. Seedling of C. hiemalis, possible pollen of C. sasanqua ‘Variegata’ , first flowering in 1996. Flower: single with 8-10 deep pink petals with white mottling and stripes. Leaf: small oval 6 x 3 cm, blade margin serrulate, glossy and moderate green. Flower and leaf very similar to ‘Ishtar’. International Camellia Society, 2023.
