Verschaffelt, 1844-1845, Catalogue, p.28. van Houtte Catalogue, 1845-1846, 23:50 as ‘Princess Sophie’: Obtained from seed by Mr Caters de Wolf, Berchem, Belgium. Belongs by its imbrication to the class of perfections, with large, rounded, emarginate petals, undulate at the margins, ruffled at the centre, of fine pink, veined deeper and above average in size.
