ACS, The Camellia Journal, June 2006, p.28, colour photo p.29, Reg. No.2682; A chance seedling that first flowered 2002. Originated by John L. Spencer, Lakeland, Fla., USA, propagated by Spencer Camellias, Lakeland. The 9.5cm diameter, red, rose form double flower has yellow anthers and rose filaments. Plant is upright, open, spreading and vigorous. Flowers mid-season to late. American Camellia Yearbook, 2006, p.64 with colour photo; Dark green leaves are 9.5 cm x 5 cm.
