Qingli Shaonü

Qingli Shaonü (C. azalea × C. azalea F1 new hybrid 'Xiafeng Relang'). Liu Xinkai et al. 2023, Illustrations of the New Camellia Hybrids that Bloom Year-round, Zhejiang Science and Technology Publishing House, p.239. HAR-02-14., a cross seedling (DXFRL-No.27) of C. azalea × C. azalea F1 new hybrid 'Xiafeng Relang'. Flowers pink, occasionally with a few white markings on the central petals, semi-double to peony form, medium to large size, 9.5-11.0cm across and 4.8cm deep with 13-15 exterior large petals arranged loosely and orderly in 2 rows, obovate, 3-5 small petals at the center erected, wrinkled or wavy, stamens slightly united at the base, filaments scattered. Leaves dark green, heavy leathery, broad elliptic, cuneate at the base, margins shallowly serrate, lateral veins yellow green and visible. Plant compact, bushy and growth vigorous. Starts to bloom from early-summer, fully blooms from autumn to winter and sporadically in spring. The cultivar name means “Charming & Young Girl”.

清丽少女 Camellia ‘Qingli Shaonü’ 。刘信凯、钟乃盛、柯欢、武艳芳主编，2023，《第二部四季茶花杂交新品种彩色图集》，浙江科学技术出版社，第239页。 HAR-02-14.杂交组合：杜鹃红山茶×杜鹃红山茶F1代新品种‘夏日热浪’，杂交苗编号：DXFRL-No.27。花朵粉红色，花芯偶有少量白斑，半重瓣型至牡丹型，中型至大型花，花径9.5-11.0cm，花朵厚4.8cm，外部大花瓣13-15枚，呈2轮松散有序排列，平铺或外翻，倒卵形，中部小花瓣3-5枚直立、扭曲或波浪状，雄蕊基部略连生，花丝散射。叶片浓绿色，叶背面灰绿色，厚革质，阔椭圆形，长9.0-10.5cm,宽4.5-5.0cm，基部楔形，边缘具浅齿，侧脉黄绿色、清晰。植株紧凑，矮灌状，生长旺盛。夏初始花，秋、冬季盛花，春季零星开花。
