New Zealand Camellia Bulletin, March 1998, Issue No.129, vol.XX, No.4, p.22, Reg. No.390. Registered by O. Blumhardt, Whangarei, New Zealand. A cross of C.japonica Bokuhan (‘Tinsie’) x C.lutchuensis hybrid Scentuous which first flowered in 1993. A small peony form with about 15 petals and 50 petaloids. Flowers are a very deep pink with paler petaloids (RHS.CC. 52A for the petal backs; main colour appearance 52B). Plant is upright in habit and average in growth rate and density, with light green leaves 7 cm long x 3 cm wide. Flowers mid-season. Colour photo, ACRS Camellia News 1997, Issue No.143, p.23.
