朱國棟、蔡燦玉，2011. 《台灣茶花族譜》，p.224. Red Bird 红鸟(C. japonica)红山茶。1981，美国亚拉巴马州Theodore，J.M. Haynie。初花1973年。完全形、偶有内勾花瓣螺旋形、暗红色、深色脉纹、中轮(10 x 4cm)、花期1~3月、树性直立、浓密。

红鳥，Red Bird（C. japonica），陈丽惠2013年《山茶花谱台湾情》第232页，红、完全重瓣、中輪、中~晩花，1981年美國發表。
