American Camellia Yearbook, 1966, p.98, Reg. No.884: A rose-pink, peony form chance seedling that first bloomed 1962, aged 6 years. Originated by J.R. Murdock Sr., Monticello, Florida, USA. Similar to Kramer’s Supreme in form. Anthers yellow, filaments pink. Size is 13 cm across x 6 cm deep with 45 petals and 30 petaloids that are twisted and interspersed with the stamens. Colour is bright rose-pink. Blooms mid-season to late.
