American Camellia Yearbook, 1956, pp.64-65, Reg. No.284: A 9 year old chance seedling, originated by Earl B. Hudson, Sun Valley, California, USA that first flowered 1954. Plant growth upright, average density and rapid. Leaves average 8 cm long x 4.5 cm wide, with slight but regular serration. The Venetian Pink (RHS,CC.420/3) semi-double flowers resemble Finlandia in form, 10-12.5 cm across x 5 cm deep with 25-30 petals and a few petaloids. Flow­ers mid-season to late.
