American Camellia Yearbook, 1967, p.232, Reg. No.930: A 9 year old seedling of ‘Alba Superba’ that first bloomed 1959; originated by Dr J.W. Vaughn, Lakeland & Auburn­vale, Florida, USA. Plant growth is upright and willowy, spreading and rapid with light to medium green leaves, 15 cm x 8 cm. The peony form to rose form double flowers are 13-17 cm across x 7-8 cm deep with 80-95 petals. Colour is porcelain white with golden yellow stamens. Often petals have a slight pink undertone. Blooms early through mid-season.
