This 20-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2002. It was originated and propagated by Robert Ehrhart of Walnut Creek, California, USA and registered by George Ann Johnson of Pinole, California, USA. Bloom: The large sized 11.4cm x 3.8cm semi-double form flower is light pink with darker edges. It has yellow anthers. The bloom falls in one piece with consistent form. This bloom has a few petaloids. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 7.6cm x 3.8cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Early to midseason.
