Nippon Tsubaki - Sasanqua Meikan, 1998, p.110 with colour photo; English translation p.75. Small, white, tubular single with thick petals and cylindrical stamen column. Flowers early to late. Leaves elliptic, medium size, recurved. Upright, vigorous growth. Selected from wild camellias growing in Mure town. Discovered and named by Saneichi Ogawa, released by the Kagawa Branch of the JCS in 1997. From Kagawa Prefecture.
