Tuyama, 1968, Camellias of Japan, pl.82, p.41, description, p.110: Leaves broadly-elliptic, apex shortly-acuminate with fine tip, margins crenate-serrate, thick. Flowers medium size, widely campanulate, 5 petalled, single, pale rose (Neyron Rose 623/3). Blooms early to mid-season. Originated in an abandoned camellia garden in Momoyama, Fushimi-ku, Kyōto City, Japan. Named by Kaoru, Miyake.
