Sakuden, 1630, Hyakuchinshū: Double, white flower, quite flat. Described as a double form ‘Shiratama’. Originated in Japan. Syn­onym: ‘Tokunaga’. See: Kyōto Engei Kurabu, 1961, Tsubaki Tokushū, No.2, p.95. (Believed extinct.)
