Itō, Jukyū, 1739, Honzō Hanamaki’e; Itō, Toku’emon, 1788, Tsubaki Hanagatatsuki Obo’echo: Double, pale pink ground with white spots. Semi-double with 3 rows of petals, stamens widely spread. Originated in Japan. See: JCS., 1983, Tsubaki, No.22, p. 119. (Believed extinct.)
