A 13 year old Seedling of C. japonica 'Royal Velvet'. It was first bloomed in 2012. Flower Semidouble, Medium to large size, 0.0 cm in diameter and 1.5 cm in depth, Dark velvet red with golden anthers and reddish filaments. Leaf Dark green, 8.3 cm long, and 3.8 cm wide. Plant Vigorous, Upright, dense growth. Cold hardy to 14° F Bloom Mid-season-Late.
