This 21-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 1995. It was originated and registered by Jill Read of Lucedale, Mississippi, USA and propagated by Glenn Read Camellia Nursery of Lucedale, Mississippi, USA. Bloom: The medium to large sized 10.1cm x 5.1cm formal double form flower is white. This long lasting profuse bloomer has consistent form and falls in one piece. The white bloom has a cream yellow center bud. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves have medium serration and average 10.1cm x 5.1cm. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
