American Camellia Yearbook, p.291, Reg. No.322: A 20 year old chance seedling, originated by E.B. Davis, Mobile, Alabama, USA, which first bloomed about 1950. Plant growth is medium, rapid, bushy and spreading, with light green leaves, 8 cm long x 4.5 cm wide. The flowers are semi-double, irregular in form, light rose-pink with about 30 petals and 8-10 petaloids and an occasional stamen. Petaloids vary from pink to white. Flowers are 8-12.5 cm across x 3.8 cm deep. Blooms mid-season.
