Note: SCCS., Camellia Nomenclature, 1960 changed the name of Vaughn Drinkard to Dona Julia and gave the name Vaughn Drinkard to the variegated form. Plant patent 1308 was granted Oct.5, 1954 and published by the American Association of Nurserymen Inc., 1957, p.32.
