American Camellia Yearbook, 1966, p.101, Reg. No.817: An 11 year old chance seedling that first flowered 1956. Originated by C.E. Jones, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, USA. Plant growth is average with dark green leaves, 8 cm x 5 cm. The formal double flower, similar to Alba Plena, is 8 cm across x 2 cm deep with 30-40 petals, light red and white with flowers ranging from almost self white to red. Blooms mid-season to late.
