Wang's YY Hong （C. japonica） Registered in 2024. ACS Registration #3357. It was originated by John Wang from Orinda, California, USA and registered by Randolph Maphis from Tallahassee, Florida, USA. A 12-year-old seedling of C. japonica 'Black Magic'. It was first bloomed in 2015. Flower semidouble form with crinkled petals, dark crimson red with dark yellow anthers and light pink to red filaments. large to very large size, 12.7 cm in diameter. Leaf dark green, 11.0 cm long and 5.0 cm wide. Plant vigorous growth rate, upright, medium density growth. Bloom mid-season to late.
