Lattin, 1959, American Camellia Yearbook, p.22: Originated by Dr John D. Lawson, Camelliana Nursery, California, USA. A seedling of unknown parentage, a vigorous, rapid growing plant of pendulous habit with long, drooping branches. Foliage is dark green and above average size of sasanqua cultivars. The bloom is a single white, shading to blush pink margins, quite fragrant and reached about 8 cm across. American Camellia Yearbook, 1960, p.208, Reg. No.442.
