ACS Registration #3084. This 6-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2014. It was originated and registered by Joseph Louis and Joanne Raska of Deland, Florida and propagated by Mark Crawford of Valdosta, Georgia. Bloom: The small to medium sized 6.35cm - 7.62cm x 5.08cm semi-double form flower is red. It has yellow anthers and yellow filaments. The blooms are long lasting with consistent form. Sometimes the blooms have darker edges on the petals. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 8.89cm x 3.81cm with low serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
