New Zealand Camellia Bulletin, 1982, vol.XII, No.5, p.7, Reg. No.177: A seedling raised by Mrs Ida Berg, Whakatane, New Zealand. The seed parent was an unnamed seedling from C.reticulata Dataohong x C.saluenensis and the pollen parent Damanao. Growth habit is medium and spreading. The flower is a peony form, dark rose, 11.5cm across. Mid-season blooming.
