Botanical and Biological Characteristics: [Tree] Arbor, semi-open crown, tree height 7.8 m, crown width 5.3 m x 5.5 m, basal trunk diameter 0.4 m, lowest branch height 1.7 m, branches dense. [New Shoots] One bud with one leaf in mid-March, one bud with two leaves in late March, buds and leaves green with few hairs, one bud with three leaves 6.1 cm long, weight of 100 buds with three leaves 93.6 g. [Leaves] Leaves grow slightly upward on new shoots, leaf length 13.3 cm, leaf width 4.4 cm, leaf area 41.0 cm², large leaves, lanceolate shape; 12–14 pairs of veins, dark green with gloss, flat leaf surface, flat leaf body, leathery texture with medium hardness; leaf teeth sharp with medium density and shallow depth, wedge-shaped base, gradually pointed tip, slightly wavy margin. [Flowers] Peak flowering in early November, 5 green sepals without hairs, pedicels without hairs; corolla diameter 4.2 cm, 5–7 petals, white with green, hairless, thin texture; ovary with 5 (4) compartments, hairy, style length 1.3 cm, style tip 4 (5) lobed, lobes shallow, pistil high. [Fruit and Seeds] Fruit spherical, fruit diameter 3.1 cm, dry fruit skin thickness 10.0 mm; seed spherical, seed diameter 1.6 cm, seed coat smooth and brown, 100 seeds weigh 153.4 g. Quality Traits: Spring tea with one bud and two leaves has a water extract of 47.5%, caffeine 3.1%, amino acid 3.6%. Resistance Traits: None
