Xiaqiu Fenniu

Xiaqiu Fenniu (C. azalea × C.japonica 'Dixie Knight Supreme'). HA-05-5., a cross seedling (DCN-No.6) of C.azalea × C. japonica 'Dixie Knight Supreme'. Flowers light red in outside petals and deep pink in mid-petals, blotchedwhite, semi-double form, small to medium size, 7.0-8.5cm across and 4.3cm deepwith about 23 petals arranged in 3 rows, bloom dense. Leaves dark-green,leathery, small elliptic, margins densely serrate. Plant compact, dwarf,branches creeping and growth vigorous. Starts to bloom from late-summer, fullyblooms from autumn to winter and sporadically in spring. The cultivarname means “Pink Girl in Summer & Autumn”.
