Photo shows a red, full rose form double, with a few central stamens. The cultivar originated in Dali, Yunnan, China, is a famous tradional cultivars in China. Leaves thick, broad ovate to broad elliptic, apices short pointed or acute, bases broad cuneate to orbicular, 5.5-7 cm long, 3.5-5.3 cm wide. Flowers purple, diameter 12-13 cm. Petals about 33 in 6-7 whorls, regularly imbricated, slightly reclinate, recurved when fully open, becoming smaller from outer to inner whorls, inner petals with pinkish white stripes, others with short, silvery white hairs. Stamens mostly petaloid, some rudimentary.The flowers season is from mid February to late March. synonym: ‘Crane Crest’.‘Crane Crest Red’, ‘Stork Crest Red’. The cultivar is easily distinguished by its petals are purplish-red with white hairs, inner petals have white belt-like stripes, and by small and thick leaves.

性状描述：花紫红色，玫瑰重瓣型，大型花，花径12~13cm，花瓣约33枚，近圆形，6~7轮覆瓦状排列，微内曲，全开时则向后反卷，花瓣从外向内逐渐变小，内轮花瓣具白色带状条纹，其余花瓣上具银白色短毛，雄蕊多数变为花瓣，仅残留少数退化雄蕊于花心，雌蕊退化，不结实，花量稠密。叶片深绿色，宽卵圆形至宽椭圆形，厚质，长5.5~7cm，宽3.5~5.3cm，先端短尖至急尖，基部宽楔形至圆形；植株开展，生长中等。花期：2月中旬至3月下旬。

识别点：本品种花玫瑰重瓣型，花瓣上具白色短毛，内轮花瓣具白色带状条纹，叶小而厚质。
