In July 2025, the latest edition of the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants (Madrid Code), abbreviated as ICN, was published by the University of Chicago Press. The Madrid Code, as the flagship serial publication of the International Association for Plant Taxonomy (IAPT), Regnum Vegetabile, Volume 162, is the latest version that was discussed and approved for revision at the 20th International Botanical Congress in Madrid, Spain, in July 2024, replacing the Shenzhen Code, Volume 159 of Regnum Vegetabile, which was approved at the 19th International Botanical Congress in Shenzhen, China, in July 2017 and published by Koeltz Botanical Books in 2018. Recently, the electronic version of the Madrid Code has been officially available online on the IAPT website (https://www.iaptglobal.org/madrid-code-online) for free access to researchers in plant science, mycology, phycology, and related disciplines worldwide.
2025年7月，新版《国际藻类、菌物和植物命名法规》（又称《马德里法规》）已由美国芝加哥大学出版社正式出版，刊载于国际植物分类学会（IAPT）的旗舰系列出版物Regnum Vegetabile（《植物界》）第162卷。该版本法规于2024年7月在西班牙马德里召开的第20届国际植物学大会讨论修订，并经大会审议通过。《马德里法规》取代2017年7月在中国深圳第19届国际植物学大会上批准的、2018年发表于Regnum Vegetabile第159卷的上一版《深圳法规》。目前，《马德里法规》的电子版已在国际植物分类学会（IAPT）官网正式上线（https://www.iaptglobal.org/madrid-code-online），供全球植物学、菌物学、藻类学及相关领域的科研人员免费查阅。
