The letter from Forrest Latta, the vice-president of ICS, is copied here as follows:

Dear Professor Motta and colleagues,

Our plans are being finalized for the next ICS Congress. You will love the hotels and tours and educational programs. This Congress will be our 65^th Anniversary, and it will partly coincide with the ACS National Convention.

We would like to send a general email to all ICS members to announce that the website is ready. We will start taking registrations on May 1, 2026. Here is the website: www.ICSCongress2027.com.

On the website you will see a call for papers. However, we are also assembling a lineup of invited speakers and topics that will be very interesting. I will send you a list of confirmed speakers and topics very soon.

In the meantime, I welcome your comments and suggestions.
